Cheese, Wine, Chocolate & Castles Tour

The cheese, chocolate & wine tour is a hit with food lovers of any kind! This tour is based on a number of tastings at locations Felix recommends based on his previous experience there. One of the best kept secrets of Switzerland is Swiss wines - you can't find them anywhere else since they are not largely exported. Groups will be able to customize this tour with as many wine and chocolate tastings as they'd like with the option to add on a tour of the Lucerne Chocolate Factory. Excursions to the chocolate factory or other wineries are typically day long excursions including travel and meals. All tastings will be planned ahead of time in order to allow most efficient travel. Many a renovated castle can be found in this region where the Swiss fought the French in the Middle Ages - history is all around!

• Visit a Renovated monastery - Enjoy bakery, make cheese and tour the winery at Kartause Ittingen

• Relax at a thermal wellness center in Zurzach

• Salgesch is a main region near Sion/Sierre - Take advantage of 30 wineries and various hotels

• Enjoy a 2 hour scenic Wine Walk at Weinwanderung - We'll start in Sierre and end up in Sion

• Experience and taste the highest grown grapes in Saas

  • Felix has stayed with a family in the past near Saas with access to 4 acres of vineyard & the best Pinot Noir wines made with the highest grown grapes

• If you opt to stay in Sass-grund, visit the winery at Visperterminen - the highest vineyard in Europe!

  • Sass-grund near Sass-tal offers lots of hiking with a scenic view from the restaurant on top of the lake with information about the Mattmark Dam

  • Experience the Stausee Mattmark by bike or on foot and see the Mattmark Dam

• Visit another Thermalbad at Leukerbad​
